With more than 30 years of experience in thin glass manufacturing and processing, spanning float glass and automotive glass for global markets, Pankaj brings unparalleled industry expertise and a transformative leadership vision to Waaree’s growing glass vertical.
Known for his innovation-driven management style, Pankaj is guided by his core philosophy — “Benefit to Investor, Benefit to OEM, Benefit to Nation.” In his new role, he will be responsible for strengthening Waaree’s glass business through advanced engineering, sustainable manufacturing, and process excellence, reinforcing the company’s global leadership in solar and glass technology.
Before joining Waaree Energies, Pankaj served as President – Glass Business at The Luminaz Safety Glass Pvt. Ltd., where he led the company to global prominence with a 100% export share and introduced his proprietary “100 IN & 100 OUT” productivity framework. Under his leadership, Luminaz established state-of-the-art facilities, achieved multiple process patents, and became a recognized leader in the automotive glass segment, earning the Glass Bulletin Award for “Best Young Emerging Company.”
Earlier, Pankaj held leadership positions at The Nahars Engineering India Pvt. Ltd., Hindustan Glass Works Limited, and Hindusthan National Glass & Industries Limited, where he drove operational excellence, greenfield projects, and turnaround initiatives. His tenure at Guardian Industries, Surya Roshni Ltd., and LML further honed his skills in manufacturing innovation, ergonomic design, and productivity enhancement—making him one of the most respected figures in India’s glass manufacturing sector.
With a proven record of building world-class operations, Pankaj now aims to leverage his deep technical expertise and visionary leadership to propel Waaree Energies into a new era of engineering precision, process innovation, and global competitiveness in the thin glass segment.
