Fairfield, Connecticut, United States, July 2024 – Paul Fama has joined Fairfield University as the new Vice President of Human Resources. Paul is enthusiastic about leading the HR strategies at this esteemed Jesuit Catholic institution.
Paul Fama previously served as an Advisor at Cornell University for approximately 2 years, where he focused on talent development and learning leadership trend analysis and consulting.
Before that, Paul was the Chief People Officer at the State of NY Metropolitan Transportation Authority, overseeing HR functions for over 50,000 employees, including HR strategy, team rebuilding, and organizational restructuring for 2 years.
Paul’s extensive experience includes a significant tenure at GE, spanning over 25 years in various senior HR roles. Notable positions included Global Learning Leader, SHRM for Global Talent Development, Senior HR Manager for Latin America, and Senior HR Manager for the Oil and Gas division.
Paul also founded Fama Enterprises, LLC, where he contributed cutting-edge thought leadership regarding the future of work, education, learning, talent development, and disrupting HR, for over 6 years.
