New Delhi, India, December 2025 — Prakash Kumar has joined Pilot Industries Limited as Vice President – Sales (E-Rickshaw Division). In this role, he will lead sales strategy, channel expansion, and market growth for the company’s e-rickshaw battery portfolio under the Leader Batteries brand, strengthening Pilot Industries’ presence in India’s rapidly expanding electric mobility ecosystem.
Prior to this appointment, Prakash Kumar served as Head of Sales at Advon Industries Pvt. Ltd., where he led sales operations and market development initiatives across key regions. Before that, he was Vice President – Sales at Smarten Power Systems, overseeing sales growth across solar, power backup, and allied solutions, with a strong focus on channel performance and customer acquisition.
Earlier, he held the role of Vice President at Fortuner Group, contributing to sales leadership across technology-driven power and energy solutions. His experience also includes serving as Sales and Marketing Specialist at Deepak International Limited, one of India’s major manufacturers of lead-acid batteries for e-rickshaws, automotive, inverter, solar, and two-wheeler segments—experience that aligns closely with his current mandate.
Notably, Prakash Kumar has a long-standing association with Pilot Industries Limited, where he earlier spent over six years as Head of Sales, playing a key role in expanding market reach, strengthening dealer networks, and driving sustained revenue growth. This return marks a strategic leadership reinforcement for the organization’s e-mobility ambitions.
Across his career, he has built strong capabilities in sales leadership, business development, account management, channel strategy, and market expansion within the battery, power, solar, and electric mobility sectors.
