Kolkata, West Bengal, India, December 2025 — McNROE Consumer Products Pvt. Ltd. has appointed Prakash Panda as its new Head of Human Resources, entrusting him with the leadership of the company’s end-to-end people strategy across corporate, sales, international business, and manufacturing operations.

In his new role, Prakash Panda is responsible for shaping people strategy, workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, sales capability building, manufacturing HR and industrial relations, rewards, and HR digitization initiatives. He partners closely with senior leadership to enable scalable growth, frontline productivity, operational excellence, and a high-performance culture across McNROE’s FMCG value chain.

Prior to joining McNROE, Prakash Panda served as President & Group CHRO at India Power, where he led comprehensive HR leadership across power distribution, generation, renewable energy, smart metering, and power trading businesses. During his tenure, he was recognized with multiple national-level HR excellence awards by CII and ASSOCHAM, and successfully led long-term industrial settlements, strengthening organizational stability and workforce relations.

Before this, he held the position of Senior Vice President & CHRO at India Power, where he drove people excellence initiatives and industrial harmony programs, earning CII HR Excellence Awards and helping the organization achieve Great Place to Work® Certification. His earlier leadership stints include Chief Human Resources Officer at Star Cement Ltd., Assistant Vice President – HR at Reliance Communications, National Head HR at Essar (The Mobile Store), Zonal HR Head (East) at Pantaloon Retail, General Manager HR at Reliance Retail, Circle HR Head at Bharti Airtel, and plant HR leadership roles at Indian Aluminium Company Ltd. and JK Synthetics Ltd.

He holds a Master of Business Administration in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from Utkal University, strengthening his decades-long expertise in strategic HR leadership, industrial relations, organizational transformation, and people capability development.

Matthew Breitfelder is Partner and Global Head of Human Capital at Apollo, where he focuses on attracting extraordinary talent to the firm and creating an innovative, inclusive, high-performance culture that brings out the best in Apollo’s people. Matt leads Apollo’s recruiting, talent management, compensation, succession planning, citizenship, employee relations, development, and culture work. He is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Team. Matt is committed to expanding opportunities across Apollo’s workplace, marketplace, and communities. Prior to joining Apollo, Matt was Chief Talent Officer at BlackRock as well as a member of the Operating Committee. Previously, he held strategy, talent, and innovation roles at Mastercard, PwC, and CEB/Gartner.

Matt holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of the Lumina Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society program, the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism initiative, and Georgetown University’s initiative on AI, Analytics, and the Future of Work. He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership. Matt has been recognized as a Top Global CHRO multiple times by n2Growth and Stanford Business School.
