Gurugram, Haryana, India, February 2026 — Prateek Gupta has been elevated to the role of Vice President at BlackRock, marking a significant milestone in his professional journey with the global asset management firm. In this role, he will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, strengthening investment and analytical capabilities, and supporting the firm’s mission to deliver innovative financial solutions.
Prateek began his journey at BlackRock as an Analyst, where he contributed to data-driven research and analytical initiatives supporting key investment functions. He was subsequently elevated to Associate, a role in which he deepened his involvement across investment analysis and operational support, playing an important part in strengthening BlackRock’s research-driven decision-making framework.
Earlier in his career, Prateek gained valuable industry exposure through internships at GE HealthCare and Tata Motors, where he worked on safety research, operational initiatives, and technical analysis. He also served as a Research Consultant at WorldQuant, further sharpening his quantitative research skills and analytical acumen. His steady progression reflects a strong foundation in research, structured analysis, and financial problem-solving.
Prateek holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, which underpins his analytical mindset and structured approach to complex problem-solving in the financial services sector.
