Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, November 2024 – Pritam Banerjee has assumed the role of Head of Global New Frontiers at Chubb, where he will spearhead innovation in artificial intelligence (AI) and rapid prototyping efforts. In this capacity, Pritam will lead strategic initiatives across data, analytics, and digital to enhance Chubb’s capabilities and create cutting-edge solutions for the insurance industry.
Pritam brings a wealth of expertise in AI and analytics, with over a decade of leadership experience in insurance and financial services. Prior to his current role, Pritam served as Head of AI Solutions at Chubb, where he drove the adoption of generative AI and scaled its impact across the insurance value chain. His contributions included developing AI-powered solutions for claims, underwriting, and risk management.
Previously, Pritam held the position of Assistant Vice President at Chubb, where he led a team of 15 data scientists to deliver enterprise-wide AI initiatives, identifying millions in recovery potential and optimizing claims processes. As Senior Manager of Advanced Analytics, he established the Claims Analytics Center of Excellence, focusing on fraud detection and portfolio transformation across APAC and EMEA regions.
Before joining Chubb, Pritam gained extensive experience as Assistant Vice President at EXL, leading analytics solutions for insurance clients across the UK and scaling the company’s presence in the EMEA region. Earlier in his career, he held roles at Sutra Management and Suzlon Group, where he demonstrated expertise in analytics, process improvement, and organizational transformation.
