Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2025 – Priyanka Arora has taken on the role of Associate Vice President at Universal Sompo General Insurance Co. Ltd., where she is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s communication, public relations, and social media strategies. Her diverse experience across digital, brand management, marketing, and public relations will further Universal Sompo’s ambitions as a leading player in India’s general insurance sector.
Prior to this appointment, Priyanka was Strategic Lead – Communication, Public Relations and Social Media at Mirae Asset Global Investments, where she managed and grew the brand presence across all major platforms. She successfully executed digital campaigns for Sharekhan and Espresso, delivered strong community management, and led online reputation management (ORM), enhancing the customer experience and brand engagement.
Earlier, she worked with Godrej Group as Manager, where she led brand and digital campaign management for Godrej L’Affaire, managed influencer collaborations, and executed digital PR for several major campaigns. Priyanka was recognized for driving community growth, executing award-winning campaigns, and expanding responsibilities to additional digital content properties.
Priyanka also gained rich experience as Marketing Manager at 94.3 Radio One Mumbai, where she managed international content marketing, major event alliances, and exclusive tie-ups with global movie studios, successfully increasing publicity and brand recall. Her earlier stints at The Hindu, Tech Shastra, DoPoints Marketing Services, Satec Envir Engineering (India) Pvt. Ltd., CNBC-TV18, NDTV, and Sakaal Media Group further enriched her capabilities in brand strategy, mobile and digital marketing, client relations, and media coordination.
