Proofpoint, Inc., a premier provider of cybersecurity and compliance solutions, announced the appointment of Kim Sullivan as its new Chief People Officer (CPO). Sullivan will take the helm of the global Human Resources (HR) organization, focusing on spearheading strategic HR initiatives that will contribute to the company’s business growth. She will be reporting directly to Sumit Dhawan, the Chief Executive Officer of Proofpoint.
Sullivan transitions to Proofpoint from Sitecore, where she held the position of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). During her tenure at Sitecore, she was instrumental in leading the global HR function, establishing deep trust with the senior leadership team, and playing a pivotal role in the company’s immediate and strategic growth initiatives. Prior to her stint at Sitecore, Sullivan served as the Global CPO at Cocentrix, further enriching her portfolio with extensive HR leadership experience gained from her roles at Kaiser Permanente, The University of Texas System, and Walgreens.
Sullivan’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication and Organizational Psychology from Texas Southern University, alongside a Master of Science in HR Development from the University of Houston.
