Chris Roussos Ascends to Executive Chairman and Tae Kim Appointed as CEO of AllerVie Health

Dallas – AllerVie Health, a burgeoning national network of allergy clinics, has officially named Tae Kim as its Chief Executive Officer. This strategic appointment marks Kim’s progression from President to CEO, underscoring the company’s ambitious roadmap for growth and innovation in the healthcare sector. Chris Roussos, who previously held the CEO position, will maintain his pivotal role within the organization as the Executive Chairman of the Board, focusing on strategic initiatives to propel AllerVie forward.

Kim, who initially joined AllerVie as the Chief Operating Officer in 2021, has been instrumental in aligning the organization’s growth strategies with the goals of its physicians, fostering partnerships that benefit both clinicians and patients alike. Under his guidance, AllerVie has seen a remarkable expansion, growing from nine clinics and eight physicians in 2020 to an impressive network of nearly 80 clinics and 100 providers by the end of 2023.

Roussos lauded Kim for his exemplary leadership and strategic acumen, which have been crucial in establishing AllerVie as a leader in the allergy and asthma healthcare industry. Roussos highlighted Kim’s deep understanding of the healthcare landscape and his success in building meaningful collaborations across the allergy community.

Before his tenure at AllerVie, Kim’s career was marked by significant achievements, including his role as COO and CFO at Martin UAV, an aerospace technology company, which saw considerable growth leading to a successful acquisition. Kim’s diverse background also includes experience in healthcare investment banking at Goldman Sachs and service as an Army Aviation Officer in the U.S. Army.

Kim expressed his commitment to continuing the transformative work initiated by Roussos, aiming to redefine care and access within allergy, asthma, and immunology. He emphasized the goal of setting new standards in healthcare excellence and innovation to surpass patient expectations.

This leadership transition is a key component of AllerVie’s strategic plan, reflecting the company’s commitment to continuous evolution and excellence in patient care. AllerVie Health remains dedicated to advancing patient care by partnering with board-certified allergists and immunologists across 13 states in over 80 clinic locations, striving to bring relief and renewed vitality to millions of Americans, including those in underserved communities.
