Boston, Massachusetts, United States, August 2026 — TA Associates (“TA” or the “Firm”), a leading global private equity firm, today announced the appointment of Marie Suesse as the Firm’s Chief Human Capital Officer, effective immediately.
Based in TA’s Boston office, Suesse will lead TA’s Talent team, partnering closely with senior leaders across the Firm on all employee matters including talent strategy, recruiting, training and professional development, performance management, and other areas of employee experience. She will report to Jennifer Barbetta, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer.

Suesse joins TA from Värde Partners, a private credit firm, where she served as Global Head of Human Capital, Communications & Administration, overseeing all aspects of talent strategy, recruiting, performance management, and learning & development across six global offices. Prior to Värde, Suesse spent nine years at Artisan Partners, where she built the organization’s foundational HR infrastructure, and earlier held recruiting leadership roles at J.P. Morgan.
