Fort Worth, Texas, United States, August 2026 — AZZ Inc. has appointed Rhonda Davenport as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In her new role, Davenport will lead the company’s global people strategy, supporting talent development, organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and workforce transformation as AZZ continues to strengthen its position as a leading provider of metal coating and coil coating solutions across North America.
Rhonda brings more than 30 years of human resources leadership experience across manufacturing, technology, industrial services, e-commerce, financial services, and professional services. Throughout her career, she has built high-performing HR organizations, led enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, strengthened leadership capability, and delivered measurable business value through strategic people programs.
Prior to joining AZZ Inc., Rhonda served as Chief People Officer at Cain Watters & Associates, where she built the HR function from the ground up, growing the people team from one to eight professionals while supporting approximately 370 associates and multiple affiliated organizations. During her tenure, she led executive recruitment, leadership development, employee engagement, talent acquisition, learning initiatives, benefits optimization, HR technology modernization, and workforce planning. She also implemented enterprise learning platforms, introduced leadership development programs, modernized HR governance, and delivered significant cost savings through strategic HR transformation.
Earlier, Rhonda served as Director of Human Resources at Unisys, providing strategic HR leadership for global enterprise solutions and leading large-scale people initiatives across multiple business units. She previously held the role of Vice President, Human Resources at Speed Commerce, overseeing HR operations across the United States and Mexico, and earlier served as Director of Employee Relations at Sirius XM Radio, supporting workforce planning, organizational development, change management, and employee relations.
Her earlier career includes HR leadership roles at Speed Commerce and The Freeman Company, along with progressive human resources leadership positions that established her expertise in talent management, labour relations, organizational design, HR technology, leadership coaching, compliance, and culture transformation.
