Essen, Germany, October 2026 — tk accelis has announced the appointment of Jennifer Weihs as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective October 1, 2026.
Jennifer brings more than 15 years of experience in strategic human resources, organizational transformation, talent management, and leadership development. She joins tk accelis from OBI Group Holding, where she served as Managing Director People & Organizational Development (CHRO), leading the people and organizational development agenda for approximately 40,000 employees across ten countries. In this role, she was responsible for shaping international HR strategy, organizational capability, and leadership development to support the retailer’s continued growth.
Before joining OBI Group, Jennifer spent nearly six years with Fresenius Group, where she most recently served as Senior Vice President Human Resources. She led group-wide HR strategy, oversaw HR operations in Germany, chaired the Fresenius Group HR Steering Committee, and provided functional leadership to HR heads across the organization’s business segments. Earlier at Fresenius, she served as Vice President Talent Management, leading employer branding, recruitment, talent management, leadership development, learning and development, HR processes, HR technology implementation, and HR reporting.
Earlier in her career, Jennifer built extensive expertise in HR strategy and organizational transformation through consulting roles with Korn Ferry, Willis Towers Watson, hkp/// group, and Kienbaum, where she advised organizations on HR transformation, organizational design, workforce planning, leadership development, competency management, and business transformation. Alongside her corporate career, she has also served as a lecturer at the International School of Management (ISM) and DHBW Lörrach, teaching subjects including personnel psychology, personnel development, and HR controlling.
Jennifer’s appointment reflects tk accelis’ commitment to strengthening its people strategy as the company continues to expand its global leadership in materials distribution, processing, and digital supply chain solutions.
