Doha, Qatar – In a strategic move poised to steer the Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP) into a future of innovation and growth, Dr. Jack Lau has been named the new president of this pivotal institution. With a career that spans over 25 years, marked by significant achievements in technology, academia, and entrepreneurship, Dr. Lau’s appointment underscores the park’s commitment to excellence in the realm of science and technology.

The QSTP, a cornerstone of the Qatar Foundation, is renowned for its dynamic ecosystem that fosters research, development, and innovation. Under Dr. Lau’s leadership, the park is set to amplify its contributions to technology development and entrepreneurship both within Qatar and on the global stage.

A Visionary at the Helm

Dr. Lau brings to the table a wealth of experience, having held CEO positions in multiple startups and been recognized for his contributions to technology with 20 patents. His expertise encompasses a broad spectrum of domains, including design thinking, financial technology, and artificial intelligence (AI), positioning him as a visionary leader capable of guiding QSTP through its next phase of evolution.
