Singapore, March 2026 – Rabiga Ibrayeva has taken on a new role as Global Transformation Manager at bp, where she will lead high-impact transformation initiatives and collaborate across global teams to drive sustainable business outcomes aligned with strategic and financial priorities.
In her new role at bp, Rabiga Ibrayeva will enable and deliver enterprise-wide transformation programs by working closely with business leaders, functions, and cross-business teams. Her focus will be on ensuring transformation initiatives are measurable, scalable, and aligned with the company’s long-term ambitions, particularly as bp continues its transition toward a lower-carbon future.
Prior to this, she served as a Strategy Expert in Refining & Low Carbon Fuels at bp, where she played a critical role in shaping the company’s global energy portfolio strategy. Her work included evaluating investment opportunities in biofuels, renewable natural gas, and refining, as well as developing integrated country strategies and aligning stakeholders across regions such as the US and Europe.
Before joining bp, she was a Principal at Boston Consulting Group, where she led large-scale transformation programs for global energy companies. Her work spanned logistics, procurement, finance, and IT, along with leading strategic initiatives such as hydrogen and ammonia strategies and commercial due diligence for major acquisitions.
Earlier, she spent several years at McKinsey & Company as a Senior Engagement Manager, driving multi-billion-dollar transformation initiatives across energy markets in Southeast Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. She also led asset transfers, green hydrogen strategies, and the creation of new operating models for oilfield services companies.
She began her consulting career with Schlumberger Business Consulting, advising global oil and gas clients, and earlier held roles at organizations including Kcell, Deloitte, and Chevron, building deep expertise across supply chain, financial analysis, and large-scale operational transformation.
Rabiga Ibrayeva holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Southern California, equipping her with a strong foundation in strategy, finance, and global business transformation.
