Gurugram, Haryana, India April 2025 – Rachit Chandra has been promoted to Director, Head of Talent Acquisition – APAC at Cloudera, where he now leads end-to-end hiring strategy across the Asia Pacific region. In this role, he oversees recruitment for Engineering, Product, Sales, Support, Professional Services, and G&A functions across India, China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, and Australia.
Prior to his elevation, Rachit served as Talent Acquisition Lead – APAC at Cloudera for nearly four years. He was instrumental in driving high-impact recruitment across diverse geographies while strengthening Cloudera’s employer brand in the region. His leadership helped align talent strategy with business growth, enhancing KPIs like time-to-hire and quality of hire, and supporting robust campus recruitment programs.
Before joining Cloudera, Rachit was Talent Acquisition Manager – APAC at Expedia Group, where he successfully managed executive hiring, implemented powerful branding initiatives, and led workforce planning efforts. His campaigns reached over half a million candidates and significantly boosted the brand’s visibility in the tech talent market.
Earlier, he worked with Samsung Electronics in strategic HR and international recruitment roles. During his tenure, he led hiring for Samsung’s Technology and R&D divisions and spearheaded tier 1 campus outreach across premier Indian institutes like the IITs and NITs.
Rachit began his career with Tata Consultancy Services, where over a span of nearly six years, he advanced from Systems Engineer to Talent Acquisition Manager, playing critical roles in workforce allocation, internal staffing, SLA-driven hiring, and client engagement strategies across North India.
