Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, June 2024 – Radhika Nair has been appointed as the new Head of People & Culture at Volvo Group India. With over 20 years of HR experience, Radhika has successfully led key talent initiatives within the company, making her well-suited to drive the organization’s people strategy.
Radhika Nair has been with Volvo Group for nearly 3 years. Before her current role, she served as the Vice President of Human Resources for approximately 1 year and 3 months. In this capacity, Radhika was instrumental in overseeing HR operations and enhancing employee engagement across the organization.
Prior to her promotion, Radhika held the position of Human Resources Director at Volvo Group for around 1 year and 5 months. During her tenure, she played a crucial role in developing HR policies and initiatives that aligned with the company’s goals and values.
Before joining Volvo Group, Radhika spent over 10 years at Accenture, where she held various senior positions. She served as Vice President of Human Resources for about 2 years, leading HR business partner functions for multiple market units within Europe, covering around 33,000 employees. She was responsible for HR service delivery, talent management, performance management, and engagement strategies.
Earlier at Accenture, Radhika was the General Manager of Capability Development for nearly 4 years. She worked closely with business leaders to create and implement learning and development agendas for key business priorities and talent segments, ensuring that the solutions met business requirements and were aligned with training financial guidelines.
Radhika also gained valuable experience at UNINOR (Telenor Group) as the Manager of Training – People and Organisation for about 1 year, managing L&D for Karnataka and Kerala circles.
She served as the Centre Head at Future Learning & Development Limited, part of Future Group India, for approximately 3 years. In this role, she administered training activities for retail formats in South India, covering four states.
Earlier roles include Training Manager at Home Centre LLC, Landmark Group in Dubai for about 1 year, and Assistant Manager Training at HSBC Data Processing India Limited for around 2 years, where she was responsible for enhancing soft skills and leadership development for employees.
