Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2025 – Rajesh Gagrani has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Everest Industries Limited, marking a significant addition to the company’s leadership team as it enters a new phase of growth, digital transformation, and operational excellence. With over 25 years of extensive experience in financial leadership across leading manufacturing, engineering, and infrastructure organizations, Rajesh brings with him a deep understanding of enterprise finance, governance, and business strategy.
Before joining Everest, Rajesh served as the Chief Financial and Commercial Officer at Best Value Chem Pvt Ltd, where he played a critical role in aligning finance with commercial growth, risk mitigation, and digital innovation. His tenure witnessed significant improvements in financial transparency, compliance, and operational discipline.
Earlier, he held the role of Senior Vice President – Finance and Divisional CFO for India and SAARC at Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited, where he successfully led finance for large-scale projects across geographies, supporting strategic expansion and strengthening financial governance. Prior to that, Rajesh was Vice President and CFO at Hitachi Hi-Rel Power Electronics, where he oversaw finance, accounting, taxation, treasury, IT, and legal functions. His leadership in driving long-term business strategy and compliance played a pivotal role in the company’s growth trajectory.
Rajesh also held senior finance roles at ABB India, where he was responsible for KPI planning, business controlling, greenfield project management, and strategic negotiations. His earlier stints include project finance roles at Alstom, financial management at Phillips Carbon Black Limited, and early finance leadership at Atul Ltd.
A Chartered Accountant and an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, Rajesh has a unique blend of technical financial acumen and strategic business insight. His cross-functional exposure across Indian conglomerates and multinational corporations positions him well to drive Everest’s finance function into a more agile, data-driven, and value-oriented direction.
