Prior to joining UNO Minda, Mehta served as the Executive Vice President & Head – HR at JSW Energy Ltd, where he was instrumental in driving strategic HR initiatives that earned the company accolades such as “India’s Best Workplaces in Manufacturing 2024” by Great Place to Work Institute and several awards for HR excellence and safety.
Before his tenure at JSW Energy, Mehta held significant roles at Reliance Industries Limited, managing HR for the refining business cluster, and at General Motors, where he directed human resources activities for over five years. His earlier experiences include pivotal roles at Asian Paints and Guardian Industries, emphasizing his broad exposure across industries from automotive to energy.
