New Delhi, India, September 2025 – Ravi Sharma has been appointed as General Manager – Public Relations Division at Toyota Kirloskar Motor, marking a significant step in his illustrious journey in corporate communications, branding, and public affairs across the Indian automotive industry. In this role, he will lead Toyota’s PR and external communications strategy, strengthening the company’s brand presence and stakeholder engagement across India.
Ravi brings with him nearly two decades of experience in strategic communications and public relations. Most recently, he served as Head – Group Communication & Branding at Spark Minda, where he successfully managed integrated brand communication strategies and stakeholder outreach across the group’s mobility ecosystem.
Before this, he worked as an independent advisor, offering strategic counsel in communications, experiential marketing, PR, and digital engagement to organizations navigating fast-paced market transitions. This role helped him refine agile communication strategies suited for today’s dynamic brand landscape.
His longest tenure was at Hyundai Motor India Ltd, where he spent almost 12 years across various roles including General Manager and Head – Corporate Communications, and Head – Marketing PR. He led the company’s external communications, brand narratives, product launches, and crisis management, playing a key role in Hyundai’s public perception and market communications during a high-growth phase.
Earlier in his career, he was part of Honda Siel Cars India Ltd, where he served as Deputy Manager – Corporate Communications for over three years, handling corporate messaging, media relations, and communication strategy.
Ravi is also an alumnus of the Indian School of Business, having completed a program in Digital Marketing & Analytics, which equips him with cutting-edge capabilities in leveraging digital channels to deliver business results in today’s ever-evolving landscape.
