Paris, Île-de-France, France, September 2025 – Linedata, a global provider of technology solutions for the asset management and credit industries, has announced the appointment of Renan Borne as its new Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
With more than 20 years of experience at the intersection of finance and technology, Borne will drive Linedata’s innovation strategy to strengthen its position as a trusted technology partner for over 700 clients worldwide. Embracing the company’s strong entrepreneurial spirit, he described this opportunity as “a natural choice and a wonderful opportunity to serve prestigious clients through innovation.”
Renan most recently served at Natixis Investment Managers, where he spent nearly five years in senior leadership roles. As Chief Executive Officer of Natixis Investment Managers Operating Services, he led enterprise-wide technology and operational transformation, while also serving as Chief Information Officer and Digital Transformation Lead, where he spearheaded IT strategy, offshoring initiatives, and business process transformation in the asset and wealth management space.
Prior to Natixis, he held a key role at AXA Investment Managers as Chief Architect for Data Platforms & Real Asset Technology. Over his four-year tenure, he was responsible for advancing enterprise architecture and digital transformation to support data-driven investment strategies.
Borne also spent close to 16 years at Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking (SG CIB), where he held multiple senior technology leadership roles. These included Global Head of Information System Strategy, Head of Front Office Technology for APAC, and Global Head of Electronic Trading Technology, where he drove large-scale technology initiatives in electronic trading, fixed income, FX, and investment banking operations. His career at Société Générale began as Fixed Income Trading and Operations Technology Leader, where he laid the foundation for his expertise in capital markets technology.
He began his professional journey as a Financial Services Consultant at Projipe, gaining early experience in project management and financial technology implementations before moving into leadership positions across global financial institutions.
