São Paulo, Brazil, March 2026 – Ascenty has announced the appointment of Renata Baccarat as CHRO / Vice President – Human Resources, strengthening its leadership team as it continues to expand its position as a leading data center and connectivity provider in Latin America. In this role, Renata will lead the organization’s global people strategy, focusing on aligning business and people agendas, strengthening culture, and enabling scalable growth across the region.
Prior to joining Ascenty, Renata Baccarat served as CHRO – People & Culture at Qive, where she spent nearly four years driving the integration of business and people strategies. Her responsibilities spanned employer branding, talent attraction, DE&I, people development, performance management, people analytics, total rewards, and organizational culture, reflecting her comprehensive leadership across the HR function.
Earlier, she was People Director at iFood, where she contributed to building and scaling people strategies in a fast-growing digital business environment, focusing on talent and organizational capability across regions.
Renata also spent over eight years with Bacardi, where she held multiple global and regional leadership roles including HR Director – Global Functions, Regional Senior HR Manager – Europe, and Senior HR Business Partner – Southern Europe. During her tenure, she led HR transformation initiatives across geographies, strengthening leadership capability and aligning HR strategies with global business priorities.
Before this, she worked with Whirlpool Latin America, where she held roles including HR Business Partner Lead and Corporate Education Specialist, focusing on talent development and organizational capability building. She began her career with Ed. Abril S.A / MTV Brasil, progressing from intern to HR Analyst, building a strong foundation in HR operations and business partnering.
