Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, January 2026 – Rich Fozi has been appointed as Director, Group Human Capital & Director of Environment at Toyota Malaysia, taking on an expanded leadership mandate to drive human capital strategy, environmental stewardship, and enterprise capability development across Toyota’s Malaysia operations.
In his most recent role, Rich Fozi served as Director, Group Human Capital & Corporate Strategy and Chief Compliance Officer at Toyota Malaysia, where he led enterprise-wide people strategy, corporate governance, compliance, and organizational transformation agendas across group companies.
Prior to this, he was Senior General Manager and General Manager, Group Human Capital at Toyota Malaysia, playing a critical role in strengthening leadership pipelines, performance culture, and workforce capability frameworks.
Earlier in his career, he served as Executive Director & CEO at Boldrich International, and as Director & Head of Human Resources – Asia Pacific and Latin America at Sun Pharmaceutical Industries/Ranbaxy Laboratories, where he led large-scale multi-country HR transformation initiatives across emerging and developed markets.
His professional journey also includes senior leadership roles as Global Director, Human Resources at Emery Oleochemicals Group, Senior Vice President, Human Capital at Malaysian Biotechnology Corporation, and regional HR leadership positions at Knowles Electronics, Flextronics, and Philips.
