Gurugram, Haryana, India, October 2025 — Egon Zehnder has announced the appointment of Richa Kale as HR Director, Global Functions. In her new role, Kale will serve as a strategic HR leader for global functions and as HR business partner for the firm’s technology teams worldwide. She will work closely with the Global COO/CDTO and Global CHRO, focusing on strategic talent acquisition, capability building, performance management, total rewards, leadership development, and succession planning. She will also lead people analytics, reporting, and global talent market insights to support leadership decision-making.
Kale has been with Egon Zehnder for nearly seven years, most recently serving as Director HR, Global Digital IT & Knowledge Center India. In this role, she led the People and Culture agenda, overseeing talent acquisition, performance management, organizational effectiveness, learning and development, employee engagement, HR operations, and total rewards. She also partnered with global technology leadership to drive strategic talent management, succession planning, and global location strategy.
Before joining Egon Zehnder, she held a series of leadership roles at Encore Capital Group over nearly seven years. As HR Business Partner for India Operations, she supported over 1,500 employees, while earlier roles included Assistant Vice President, Human Resources and Assistant Vice President, India Operations. In these positions, she managed HR business partnering, employee engagement, performance management, and diversity and inclusion initiatives, as well as overseeing large operational teams.
Earlier, Kale served as Assistant Vice President, Compensation and Benefits at Encore, where she led total rewards, compensation strategy, HR analytics, and benefits management.
Her career began with key HR roles at John Deere, Zensar Technologies, IBM Daksh, and Medusind, where she gained extensive expertise in compensation, employee relations, HR operations, and talent management. These experiences provided her with a strong foundation in HR strategy, policy, and employee engagement across diverse industries and geographies.
