Gurgaon, India – Rishabh Nagpal has recently been appointed as the Chief People Officer at Samsung Electronics, marking a significant milestone in his extensive professional journey within the tech giant. With a tenure spanning nearly a decade at Samsung, Nagpal has played a pivotal role in various capacities, culminating in this latest elevation.
Since joining Samsung in September 2014, Nagpal has successfully climbed the ranks from General Manager to Senior Director, before achieving his current executive status. Throughout his career at Samsung, he has led several critical HR functions across the South West Asia region, including Total Rewards, Talent Management, and HR Operations. His efforts have been instrumental in the HR transformation initiatives and setting up of HR Shared Services that cater not only to the Indian market but also the Middle East and Africa regions.
Prior to his tenure at Samsung, Nagpal enriched his experience at notable organizations such as Huawei Telecommunications and IBM, where he led substantial HR functions and contributed to strategic planning and policy formulation. His last role before Samsung was with Huawei as the General Manager – Human Resources, where he spearheaded HR strategies and operations.
