Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India – September 2024 – Ritesh Kumar has been appointed as the new Chief Human Resource Officer at Bhagwati Products Limited, a joint venture with Huaqin Technology. In this role, Kumar will lead the Human Resource and Administration functions for the company.
Career Journey: Before joining Bhagwati Products Limited, Kumar served as Senior General Manager – Human Resource and Administration (NIP) at Haier Appliances India Pvt. Ltd for approximately three years. He was instrumental in leading HR and administrative functions for the North Industrial Park, handling a greenfield project, and designing various HR policies and SOPs. He also managed manpower planning and compliance for three factories.
Prior to Haier Appliances, Kumar was the General Manager – Human Resource and Administration (NIP) at Haier Appliances, where he managed the greenfield project at Greater Noida, setting up comprehensive HR and administrative processes.
Kumar also held the position of HR Manager at Kerry Group for about two years. In this role, he was responsible for talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement. He introduced initiatives like focused groups and improved onboarding processes.
Earlier in his career, Kumar was Senior Manager – People Specialist at AB InBev India, where he handled talent and career management, learning and development, and employee engagement for the supply and logistics functions.
Kumar’s extensive experience also includes roles as Regional Manager – Learning and Development and Plant HR Head at AB InBev India and Videocon Consumer Durables, respectively. His responsibilities ranged from managing training programs and performance systems to overseeing employee relations and engagement strategies.
