Career Journey at GameStop Robin joined GameStop in July 2021 as a Senior HR Business Partner. Over the years, he has played a pivotal role in shaping HR policies and practices across the organization. In March 2024, Robin was promoted to Senior HR Business Partner for the Field and HR Solution Center, reflecting his exceptional leadership in streamlining HR operations and enhancing employee relations.
Previous Experience Before his tenure at GameStop, Robin was deeply involved in HR management at Chico’s FAS, Inc., where he served from July 2008 to July 2021. Starting as a Director and Regional Human Resource role, Robin was instrumental in leading HR strategy, which included overseeing recruitment, talent development, and employee relations across numerous store locations.
Prior to Chico’s, Robin held significant roles at Mervyns from June 2007 to September 2008, where he managed human resources and employee relations for over 5000 associates across 45+ stores. His responsibilities included training, compliance, and leadership in employee relations initiatives.
Earlier Career Summary Earlier in his career, Robin enhanced his HR expertise at companies like Macy’s and Fusion LLC, where he developed foundational skills in operational HR management, staffing, and strategic business partnership.
