North Brabant, Netherlands, January 2025 – Roel Wijntjes has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer at SAP the Netherlands, where he will lead the company’s financial operations and strategic financial planning. He will work closely with the Finance and Management teams in the Netherlands, focusing on driving growth, operational efficiency, and financial governance.
Roel has been associated with SAP for approximately 18 years, steadily progressing through leadership roles. Prior to his promotion, he served as Commercial Support Director GCF Belux and Netherlands for over three years, where he led commercial support functions across Belgium and the Netherlands, contributing to financial oversight and regional operations management.

Earlier, he was Finance Manager for the Netherlands, a position he held for approximately one year, during which he oversaw both the Commercial Support and Controlling Departments, ensuring financial compliance and performance optimization.
Previously, Roel served as a Sales Operations Business Partner for over a year, providing strategic financial insights and supporting the Dutch Industry Teams with sales operations planning. His earlier roles at SAP include Senior Controller and Controller Sales & Support, where he gained extensive experience in financial analysis, budget management, and process optimization over a span of 12 years.
Before joining SAP, Roel worked at Bol Adviseurs as an Assistant Accountant for approximately seven years, where he developed a strong foundation in financial accounting and auditing.
