MUMBAI, Maharashtra, India, August 2025 – Rohit Talwar has joined JSW Paints as Chief Marketing Officer, further strengthening the leadership team as the company accelerates its growth in the decorative and industrial coatings space. In his new role, Rohit will report to Ashish Rai, CEO of Decorative Paints.
Rohit brings with him over two decades of experience across sales, marketing, branding, and communications. Prior to joining JSW Paints, he spent more than 13 years at Castrol, holding multiple senior leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Vice President & Head of Marketing for India and South Asia, where he led strategic brand initiatives and drove business impact across markets.
Before that, he was Marketing Director – Vietnam, where he spearheaded regional marketing efforts and helped expand Castrol’s brand presence and consumer reach in Southeast Asia. Earlier, as Deputy Vice President & Head of Brand & Communications – India, Rohit crafted integrated campaigns that elevated brand equity and drove consumer engagement.
Rohit began his journey at Castrol as Area Sales Manager and progressed through roles such as Senior Brand Manager – Motorcycle Products and Sponsorship Manager – ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, showcasing his ability to lead across diverse business functions. His career began at Navneet Education Limited, where he served as Assistant Manager – Promotions.
Armed with an MBA in Marketing and Leadership & Change Management from the Indian School of Business, Rohit brings a unique blend of operational experience, consumer insights, and brand strategy to his new mandate at JSW Paints.
