Dubai, United Arab Emirates – October 2024 – Rola Homsi has joined Lavoya Restaurants Group as the Head of People & Culture, where she will oversee all aspects of HR management and people strategy to foster a thriving workplace culture. Rola’s extensive experience in HR leadership will support Lavoya’s growth initiatives and its mission to create positive, employee-centered work environments in the F&B sector.
Prior to joining Lavoya, Rola served as Head of People and Culture at Grubtech for over three years, where she focused on HR strategy, stakeholder management, and implementing policies aligned with business goals. She managed employee engagement, performance appraisals, and compliance with labor laws, ensuring an empowered and motivated workforce.
Before her time at Grubtech, Rola was the Assistant Manager of Human Resources at Gulf Marketing Group, where she specialized in recruiting top talent and building a strong talent acquisition team. Her career also includes a role as HR Specialist at Emaar, supporting Namshi.com, where she honed her expertise in employee relations and HR service delivery.
Earlier in her career, Rola held HR positions at Al Tayer Group and Azadea Group, where she developed her skills in performance motivation and recruitment. Her foundational experience in HR at Baker Hughes and Canadian University of Dubai provided her with a comprehensive understanding of HR operations across sectors.
