Australia – JewishCare NSW, a leading not-for-profit organization dedicated to community service, has proudly announced the appointment of Romaine Moss as its new Chief People Officer. With over two decades of extensive experience in human resources, Moss is set to bring a wealth of knowledge and strategic insight to her new role at JewishCare NSW.
Romaine Moss shared her excitement about her new position: “I’m starting a new position as Chief People Officer at JewishCare NSW!!” Moss’s appointment is expected to bolster JewishCare’s commitment to fostering a supportive and effective work environment, crucial for their mission in Aged Care, Disability, and Mental Health and Family and Child Services.
Prior to joining JewishCare NSW, Moss operated as a self-employed HR and WHS Consultant, where she provided expert coaching and consultancy across various HR and WHS initiatives. Her professional journey also includes significant roles such as Practice and Consultations Manager at Jackie Burke Psychology & Consulting, and a lengthy tenure at CatholicCare Diocese Of Broken Bay, where she led as Executive Manager People & Culture before moving into project management roles focused on People and Culture.
Her earlier career was marked by roles at AMP as an OHS Consultant and at Reaxion Rehabilitation Services where she was involved in workplace rehabilitation and WorkCover accreditation auditing. These roles have equipped her with a deep understanding of strategic leadership, culture change, recruiting, and coaching—skills that will be instrumental in her success at JewishCare NSW.
