Radnor, Pennsylvania, USA, May 2024 – Rona Anhalt has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Certara. Bringing over two decades of experience in human resources leadership and executive development, Rona will drive Certara’s HR strategy and initiatives, focusing on enhancing organizational culture and talent management.
Rona’s most recent role was as Chief People Officer at EQRx. In this position, she was instrumental in building world-class teams across various disciplines and creating a rewarding and inclusive company culture.
Before that, she served as Corporate Vice President Human Resources at Celgene. Rona led global HR business partnering, talent and organizational development, and HR analytics functions, supporting Celgene’s businesses and affiliates across multiple sites and countries.
Earlier, Rona was the VP and Global Head HR, Cell and Gene Therapies Unit at Novartis. She supported the creation and build-out of the organization’s CAR-T structure and capabilities, contributing significantly to its success.
Rona also held the position of Executive Director, Global Compensation and Benefits, Novartis Oncology from July 2010 to June 2014. She managed a global team responsible for supporting Novartis Oncology’s talent attraction and retention agenda through various compensation, benefits, rewards, and recognition programs.
Earlier in her career, Rona worked at 3Com Corporation as a Senior Compensation Consultant and Financial Analyst / Controller from 1996 to 2002. She has also held various HR roles at Novartis, demonstrating a strong background in HR strategy and operations.
