Hyderabad, Telangana, India, December 2025 — S.V. Sathyam has taken on the new role of Director of People & Culture at Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre, furthering his long-standing association with the Accor group. In this position, he will spearhead HR strategy, employee engagement, and people development initiatives at one of Hyderabad’s most prominent business and leisure destinations.
S.V. Sathyam brings over two decades of diverse HR experience in the hospitality sector, with a strong track record across Accor properties in India. Prior to his current role, he spent nearly 12 years at Novotel Hyderabad Airport, where he served as Director of Talent & Culture. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in shaping the organizational culture, driving employee experience, and supporting operational excellence.
Before that, he worked for over six years with Accor, holding the position of Human Resources Manager, where he helped design and implement HR systems and policies in line with global standards. His contributions were instrumental in aligning HR strategy with business goals and enhancing workforce productivity.
Earlier in his career, Sathyam served as Deputy Manager HR at Ramada, gaining vital experience in HR operations, compliance, and employee relations. His six-year stint at Ramada laid a strong foundation for his growth in the hospitality industry.
