Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, December 2025 — Zain KSA has announced the appointment of Saad A. Al Sadhan as Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant leadership milestone for the company as it advances its digital and innovation-led growth agenda aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
Saad brings more than 18 years of leadership experience across telecom engineering, international wholesale, business strategy, and enterprise transformation. His appointment strengthens Zain KSA’s leadership bench as the company continues to expand its digital, cloud, IoT, fintech and 5G ecosystem.
Saad A. Al Sadhan has spent nearly a decade shaping Zain KSA’s growth journey. Prior to becoming CEO, he served as Acting Chief Executive Officer and Chief Business and Wholesale Officer, leading enterprise commercial strategy, wholesale transformation, and digital business expansion. His leadership was instrumental in scaling Zain KSA’s wholesale platforms, strengthening enterprise partnerships, and accelerating next-generation connectivity services.
Earlier at Zain KSA, he progressed through senior leadership roles including Wholesale Executive General Manager and Wholesale Senior Director, where he drove network commercialization, international carrier partnerships, and operational excellence across the Kingdom.
Before joining Zain KSA, Saad spent over a decade at Mobily, serving as Director of International Wholesale and Executive Manager – International Wholesale Commercial, where he built cross-border carrier ecosystems, strengthened regional interconnect strategies, and led large-scale wholesale commercialization programs. He began his career as an Operation & Maintenance Senior Engineer, building a strong technical foundation that continues to inform his strategic leadership approach.
He also contributes actively to corporate governance as Vice Chairman at Tamam, and as Board Member at Zain Omantel International (ZOI) and H. M. Al Rugaib & Sons Trading Co., strengthening strategic oversight and governance frameworks across multiple organizations.
Saad holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) and a Diploma in Transition to General Management from INSEAD, combining deep technical grounding with executive leadership capability.
