Bengaluru, India, August 2024 – Sairam K. has joined Swiggy as the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Instamart. With over 18 years of leadership experience spanning FMCG, consumer tech, and retail, Sairam brings a wealth of expertise to his new role, where he will lead the next phase of growth for Instamart.

Before joining Swiggy, Sairam K. served as the Chief Operating Officer at More Retail Private Limited for nearly four years. In this role, he was responsible for leading the supermarkets organization and driving P&L delivery. Prior to this, he was the Chief Merchandising Officer at More Retail, where he managed buying and merchandising, focusing on category growth, profitability, and inventory management.
Earlier in his career, Sairam was the Head of Sales and Supply Marketing at Ola, where he led a sales organization of over 1,700 people, managing top-line delivery and P&L accountability. He also worked at Unilever for nearly seven years in various senior roles, including Customer Marketing Director and Regional Marketing Manager. His work at Unilever included leading innovation, category strategy, and digital strategy for the foods business in South Asia.
