United Kingdom, June 2024 – Stellantis is thrilled to announce the appointment of Samanta Desimone as the new VP Global Talent Acquisition.
Samanta Desimone joins Stellantis from Philip Morris International, where she held various leadership roles over almost 15 years. Her most recent position was Head Global Talent Acquisition Transformation, where she led the integration of global talent acquisition teams and adoption of new TA technologies, managing stakeholders and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals for about 1 year.
Before this, Samanta was Head Global Candidate Acquisition & Early Careers for approximately 2.5 years. In this role, she built a global team focused on early careers, employer branding, and candidate attraction, significantly enhancing PMI’s talent acquisition capabilities and global presence.
Earlier, she served as Head Global Talent Sourcing (Buenos Aires) for around 7 months, where she led a global talent sourcing team, optimizing processes and expanding operations to Asia and LATAM regions. Additionally, as Head Talent Acquisition LATAM, US and Canada, she successfully built a direct sourcing hub for the Americas and developed a regional talent acquisition community, serving for about 2.4 years.
Samanta also held roles as Regional Talent Acquisition Manager LATAM, US & Canada and HR Business Partner Marketing & Sales, where she implemented comprehensive sourcing strategies and supported business needs in Latin America and Canada.
Her earlier experiences include positions such as HR Supervisor International Assignments & Benefits in Mexico City, Mobility Specialist in Buenos Aires, and SSC Project Specialist. These roles have equipped her with a deep understanding of HR operations and international mobility.
