Gurugram, Haryana, India, June 2025 – Samir Thaha has commenced his new role as Vice President – IGTx Delivery at IGT Solutions, based in Gurugram, Haryana, India. In his new position, Samir will be responsible for driving delivery excellence across IGTx, leveraging his extensive experience in IT leadership, program management, and digital transformation to help IGT Solutions strengthen its position as a leader in next-generation customer experience (CX) services.
Samir’s most recent experience was as Chief Information Officer at Hayl Consulting FZ LLC in Abu Dhabi, where he spent a year spearheading technology and digital initiatives. Prior to this, he also served as Chief Information Officer at Star Air in Bengaluru, where he focused on technology integration and digital transformation in the aviation sector.
Earlier, Samir held the position of Vice President at GO FIRST (formerly GoAir), managing a broad technology portfolio and leading innovation projects in the airline industry. Before this, he contributed his expertise as Program Manager at Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA), where he oversaw large-scale digital projects and technology upgrades.
Samir’s career has also included impactful roles as Programme Manager at Emirates Group, Program Manager at Accelya Group, and Manager Business Systems at Qatar Airways, where he consistently delivered business value through innovative IT strategies and operational excellence. Earlier roles at Emirates Group, Standard Chartered Bank, and Cognizant further showcase his depth of experience in software engineering, project management, and business systems across multiple geographies.
