Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, September 2025 – Sandeep Kataria has embarked on a new journey as Vice President – Information Technology at Vodafone Idea Limited. In this pivotal role, he will spearhead IT development and operations across Enterprise Support Systems, driving strategic initiatives, solution delivery, system modernization, digital transformation, and innovation at scale.
Sandeep most recently served as Head – IT SAP Sales, D&A Reporting, and Transformation at Thomson Reuters, where he led business-critical SAP transformations, reporting systems, and strategic digital initiatives over the past year and a half. His leadership was instrumental in aligning IT solutions with global business objectives while driving operational efficiency.
Prior to that, he was General Manager – IT at Go Airlines (GO FIRST), where he led digital initiatives to support operational agility in the aviation sector. He also spent nearly seven years at General Mills as Global GDGS Operations Manager, managing global IT operations and optimizing delivery frameworks across multiple geographies.
Earlier in his career, Sandeep held senior technology leadership roles at Capgemini, where he served as SDM/Support Manager, and at Tata Consultancy Services, where he began his corporate journey as a Consultant before advancing to Delivery Lead at the Center of Excellence. He also gained international experience with NDC in the UAE as a Product Manager/Senior Information Systems Analyst, further strengthening his global IT perspective.
Across these roles, Sandeep has built a reputation for delivering enterprise-grade, customer-centric, and future-ready IT ecosystems that enable multi-billion-dollar enterprises to optimize performance, reduce costs, and accelerate innovation.
