Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, April 2025 – Sandesh Siddaramanna has been elevated to Vice President – Operations, Engineering & Quality at Soliflex Packaging Pvt Ltd, taking on a key leadership role where he now oversees the manufacturing operations of four factories and leads a workforce of 1,500 through four General Managers.
In this expanded capacity, Sandesh is responsible for streamlining production, driving excellence in quality and engineering, and implementing strategic initiatives such as Industry 4.0, ERP systems, and paperless factory models. His focus remains on operational efficiency, maintenance reliability, team development, and aligning Soliflex’s operations with its global growth vision.
Prior to this role, Sandesh served as Vice President – Engineering & Quality at Soliflex, where he laid the groundwork for quality transformation and process innovation. His leadership was instrumental in building a high-performance engineering culture within the organization.
Before joining Soliflex, Sandesh was AVP – Manufacturing at DriveX Mobility, a TVS Motors subsidiary, where he drove production expansion, quality control, and sustainable manufacturing practices across India. His work was centered on circular economy principles and reducing environmental impact.
Sandesh also played a pivotal role at Wakefit, where as TPM Leader and later General Manager – Operations & SBU Head, he led transformational manufacturing initiatives across seven plants, developed new verticals in sofas and office furniture, and implemented effective cost-saving strategies.
Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Armes Maini, Aequs Pvt. Ltd., Featherlite, and Autoliv, developing expertise in operational excellence, process improvements, and large-scale production management. His early career includes significant contributions at TVS Motor Company and Schaeffler, where he built a strong foundation in TPM, lean manufacturing, and EHS standards.
