Stockport, England, United Kingdom, January 2025 – Sarah Blake has been appointed as the Chief People Officer at Stagecoach Group Limited, where she will lead the organization’s people strategy, focusing on talent acquisition, leadership development, employee engagement, and culture transformation to drive business success.
Prior to joining Stagecoach Group Limited, Sarah Blake served as the Chief People Officer at TalkTalk for approximately a year. She led the people agenda, including recruitment, talent development, business partnering, employee engagement, internal communications, and HR transformation, with a focus on creating diverse teams and aligning people strategies with business goals.
Before this, she held the position of Human Resources Director at TalkTalk for nearly three years, where she spearheaded organization design, talent management strategies, and culture transformation, ensuring a highly engaged workforce aligned with the company’s business strategy.
Sarah also worked with Centrica for over a decade, holding various senior HR roles, including Head of HR, Projects & Change, Head of HR, and HR Business Partner. Throughout her tenure, she contributed to HR transformation, change management, and leading strategic HR projects supporting the company’s commercial, IS, and central functions.
Earlier in her career, Sarah Blake served as HR Manager at Wheelabrator Group, providing HR support across multiple European sites, including Germany and Italy, focusing on HR compliance and strategic workforce planning.
