Montreal, Quebec, Canada, June 2024 – Sarah Wenaus has joined Latitude Management as the new Director of Human Resources. Bringing extensive experience in HR leadership and strategic planning, Sarah will lead HR operations and initiatives to support the company’s growth and enhance employee engagement.
Before joining Latitude Management, Sarah served as the General Manager at Satau Inc. from August 2023 to April 2024. In this role, she was responsible for overall business operations, strategic planning, revenue generation, cost control, and development of the leadership team. She played a key role in building and maintaining relationships with key business partners and ensuring adherence to the company’s vision, mission, and core values.
Prior to that, Sarah held the position of Human Resources Director at Satau Inc. from November 2020 to August 2023. She was responsible for developing HR strategies, improving workplace culture, performance management, recruitment, onboarding, leadership development, and ensuring compliance with provincial and federal labor standards.
From May 2019 to November 2020, Sarah was the Director of Purchasing at Satau Inc., overseeing a team of buyers and a logistics coordinator specializing in both domestic purchasing and international importation.
Earlier in her career, Sarah offered management consulting services as a Management Consultant at Consultation SDW from October 2015 to May 2019. She assisted small business owners with strategic and operational planning, hiring and training of front-line staff, policy and procedure development, and team building.
Sarah also served as the Director of Sales and Operations at Beesum Communications from March 2013 to October 2015, where she developed business and sales strategies, coached administrative and sales staff, and implemented a CRM system.
Before that, she was the Director of Operations at the Canadian Cancer Society from December 2008 to July 2011. She oversaw 10 unit offices across Saskatchewan, supporting staff, office operations, fundraising activities, and executing organizational objectives and strategies.
Sarah began her career at Staples as a Call Centre Manager from November 2005 to November 2008, responsible for starting up an 80-seat call center and managing overall contact center operations. She also worked as an Operations Manager at Startek from July 2003 to October 2005, where she hired, supported, coached, and developed a team of managers and call center associates, ensuring performance and productivity targets were achieved.
