Silvassa, Daman and Diu, India, April 2025 – Saty Jyot Kaur has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer at Vedanta Limited – Sterlite Copper Silvassa, where she will be leading the people and culture transformation, talent strategy, and HR operations at the Silvassa unit. Her appointment signals a continued focus on strategic HR leadership within one of India’s largest integrated copper producers.
Prior to this role, Saty Jyot Kaur served at Hindustan Zinc for nearly seven years, holding several key leadership positions. Most recently, she was the HR Head of the Sindesar Khurd Mine, where she led workforce engagement, digital HR transformation, and culture-building initiatives across one of the largest underground mines in the country.
Before that, she served as HR Head for the Rajpura Dariba Mine, where she played a pivotal role in HR digitization, driving talent acquisition for critical mining functions and enhancing safety culture. She also contributed significantly in her earlier role as HRBP for the SK Mines, focusing on leadership development, employee experience, and succession planning.
Her early career includes an HR Internship with Tata International Limited, where she contributed to HR operations and HRIS-related improvements in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh.
