Chicago, Illinois, United States, June 2024 – Selina Stroschein has joined KPMG US as the new Senior Director, HR Business Advisor. Selina brings over 14 years of extensive experience in human resources and strategic leadership to this new role, ready to enhance HR functions across multiple regions.
Selina Stroschein has been with KPMG US for over eight years. Prior to her current role, she served as the Associate Director, HR Business Advisor for nearly five years, based in Chicago, Illinois. Her responsibilities included providing HR leadership and strategy, driving organizational development, and supporting senior management in achieving business objectives.
Before that, she was the Manager, HR at KPMG for nearly seven years, overseeing HR operations and employee relations for the Greater Chicago Area. She played a key role in implementing HR initiatives and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Selina also held the position of Senior Associate, HR at KPMG, where she provided HR support and guidance to various departments, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
At Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP, Selina worked for over five years as an HR Generalist. She managed the employee onboarding and orientation process, developed campus recruitment strategies, and provided employee relations support. She was also involved in performance management and career development for all employees.
Earlier in her career, Selina held the position of Human Resources Intern at Baker Tilly, where she created an alumni program to connect past employees with the firm and assisted in the development of the GROW Initiative Program.
Selina also interned at TASC (Total Administrative Services Corporation), where she participated in numerous HR projects, including creating a New Hire Survival Guide and conducting I9 audits. She was involved in planning fundraising events and improving the company’s security systems.
At Associated Physicians Group, Selina worked as a Medical Assistant for four months, where she created an extensive New Hire Orientation manual and provided superior customer service to patients. She was responsible for drawing blood, administering vaccines, and conducting various medical tests.
