In this position, Shari will lead the company’s HR strategies across its diverse healthcare services, focusing on talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development to support Tenet Healthcare’s mission of providing high-quality care.
Shari Geffon Sherwood has built a robust career in human resources, with her most recent role being Chief Human Resources Officer at Abrazo Health. In this role, she was instrumental in overseeing HR operations and driving strategic initiatives across the organization. Prior to this, Shari served as the Senior Director of Human Resources at Abrazo Medical Group, where she managed HR functions and contributed to organizational development efforts.
Before joining Abrazo, Shari was the Senior Director of Human Resources at Integrated Medical Services (IMS). Here, she played a key role in enhancing HR practices and aligning them with the company’s business objectives. Shari’s career also includes significant experience at Southwest Network, where she served first as the Chief Human Resources Officer and then as the Vice President of Human Resources, leading HR operations and contributing to the company’s growth and success.
In addition to these roles, Shari has held positions such as Regional Director of Human Resources at Ernest Health, where she led HR operations for multiple hospitals across six states. Her earlier career includes roles at The Home Depot as a Human Resources Manager/Generalist, CVS Pharmacy as a Regional Pharmacist Recruiter, and Albertsons Companies as a Training and Development Manager.
