Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, October 2025 – KENT WORLDWIDE, a globally diversified company and trusted name in ag-based specialty ingredients and consumer products, has announced the appointment of Shaun Brooks as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Kent Consumer Brands. In this role, Shaun will oversee the financial strategy, governance, and performance management of the consumer division, driving operational excellence and sustainable growth across the global business portfolio.
Shaun Brooks brings over three decades of financial leadership experience across multiple industries, including agribusiness, transport, manufacturing, and retail. He is widely respected for his expertise in strategic financial management, corporate governance, and M&A integration.
Before joining KENT WORLDWIDE, Shaun served as Chief Financial Officer at Ritchies Transport, where he led financial operations, capital management, and profitability strategies for one of New Zealand’s largest transport companies. His leadership focused on optimizing financial performance, strengthening investor relations, and improving working capital efficiency across the enterprise.
In addition to his corporate leadership roles, Shaun has contributed significantly at the board level as a Non-Executive Director for organizations such as Harness Racing New Zealand and Auckland Trotting Club Incorporated, providing governance oversight and strategic direction. He also led SCB Consulting as Independent Director and Strategic Advisor, guiding clients on financial restructuring, business strategy, and acquisition integration initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Shaun served as Chief Financial Officer at TAB New Zealand, where he was instrumental in driving strategic transformation and revenue growth across the organization’s retail and digital platforms. Prior to that, he held leadership positions at Fonterra, including Chief Financial Officer – Fonterra Brands New Zealand, overseeing finance operations for one of the world’s largest dairy exporters.
Shaun’s earlier professional journey includes senior financial leadership roles at Foster’s Group, Toll Group, Lion, and Australia Post, where he managed large-scale financial operations, shared services, and commercial planning across Australia and Asia-Pacific. He began his career in finance and business analysis at BHP and Whitbread PLC, building a foundation in performance analytics and capital management.
