New York, United States, February 2025 – Shelly Koonce has joined Ardena as Director of Human Resources, where she will lead HR strategy, talent management, and workforce planning to support the company’s global drug development and bioanalytical services. With extensive experience in human resources leadership, employee engagement, and organizational development, she will play a key role in enhancing HR operations and fostering a strong talent pipeline at Ardena.
Before joining Ardena, Shelly served as Director of Human Resources at Catalent Pharma Solutions for nearly three years, where she was instrumental in developing HR strategies, employee relations, and leadership development initiatives. Her expertise in HR transformation and talent acquisition contributed to strengthening the company’s workforce and organizational effectiveness.
Prior to that, she spent over four years at Novartis as Associate Director of Human Resources, where she played a critical role in HR strategy, workforce planning, and leadership training. She also served as Senior Human Resources Manager at Princeton University, where she focused on talent management, employee engagement, and strategic HR initiatives to enhance workplace culture and professional development.
Earlier in her career, Shelly held key HR leadership roles at Lockheed Martin, PepsiCo, Verizon, and Express Scripts, gaining vast experience in HR business partnering, talent acquisition, and HR strategy execution. With over two decades of HR leadership experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her new role at Ardena.
