Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2025 — Shilpa Malaiya Singhai has been appointed as Managing Director at Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) India, where she will lead the Business Transformation Services practice for the Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT) vertical. In this new role, she will drive the firm’s strategic growth in the sector, focusing on impactful client transformations and sustainable value creation.
Shilpa brings a deep well of international consulting experience spanning India, the Middle East, and Europe. She has worked extensively with telecom operators, broadcasters, and technology firms on initiatives around customer experience, EBITDA improvement, and AI-led data strategies, helping them navigate complex challenges and drive innovation.
Prior to joining A&M, Shilpa served as Managing Director and Partner at Accenture, where she was involved in leading strategic client engagements in the TMT space. She was also part of the team that contributed to early semiconductor projects. Before Accenture, she held senior leadership roles at EY over an 11-year tenure, where she helped build and expand the firm’s TMT consulting practice, contributing to key growth initiatives across geographies.
Earlier in her career, Shilpa held a consulting position at IBM, gaining foundational experience in delivering transformative business solutions to clients. Her career trajectory is marked by a consistent focus on digital innovation, operational transformation, and industry-centric growth.
