Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, June 2024 – Shishir Deshmukh has taken on a new role as the Chief People Officer at Deep Industries Limited. In this position, Shishir will lead the People & Culture initiatives, overseeing human capital management, operations management, contract recruitment, and technical recruiting.
Shishir has spent the last five and a half years at Let’s Recycle – NEPRA Resource Management Private Limited, where he served as the Head of Special Projects. In this role, he was responsible for stakeholder management, HR business partnering, contract recruitment, strategy, onboarding, and HR solutions, among other key functions. Prior to this, he held the position of Vice President – Learning & Development at the same company, where he developed and implemented comprehensive learning and development strategies.
Before his tenure at Let’s Recycle, Shishir was a freelancer in the HR domain, providing talent acquisition and HR operational services to various companies. Notably, he worked at Paragon Business Solutions Limited as a Talent Acquisition & Human Resources Professional. In this role, he contributed to the company’s growth in the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and Europe, focusing on the premium hospitality industry.
Shishir also served as the AVP – HR (HRBP) at Vistaar Financial Services Pvt. Ltd., where he managed HR operations across multiple regions in India. He played a crucial role in talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement. Additionally, he was the AVP – HR, Recruitment at Diaspark Infotech Pvt. Ltd., leading HR and recruitment initiatives for nearly six years.
Earlier in his career, Shishir held the position of State Manager – Human Capital at Fullerton India Credit Company Ltd. and worked as an HR Manager at Webdunia. He began his professional journey as an Executive Assistant to the CEO at Suvi Information Systems.
