Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, August 2025 – Shivaji Chatterjee has been promoted to Head – Strategic Alliances at LifeCell International Private Limited, a national-level leadership role where he will oversee strategic partnerships, business collaborations, and alliances to strengthen LifeCell’s innovative healthcare solutions. This promotion reflects his proven expertise in building scalable business models, driving growth, and leading complex operations within the diagnostics and healthcare sectors.
Chatterjee has been with LifeCell Diagnostics, the diagnostic arm of LifeCell International, since April 2022. Most recently, he served as SBU Head (West & Central India), where he managed P&L responsibilities, spearheaded growth strategies, and drove transformation within the region. Prior to this, as Head of Business Development (West & South India), he was part of the founding core team, exploring new opportunities and contributing to the disruptive growth of the business.
Before LifeCell, Chatterjee held leadership roles at Rivaara Labs and PathCare Labs, where he successfully managed regional operations, business development, and P&L responsibilities. His tenure included driving strategic initiatives in diagnostics and establishing strong market positioning.
Earlier in his career, he served as Assistant Vice President – Diagnostics at Span Healthcare, and as Assistant Vice President – Diagno Labs (RJ Corp), where he was instrumental in expanding diagnostic services across West and South India. He also held business leadership roles at Plexus Diagnostique (a Metropolis Healthcare associate), Healthcare Global, and Healthspring Community Medical Centres, contributing to growth, sales, and strategic planning.
Chatterjee began his professional journey in pharmaceuticals with GlaxoSmithKline and went on to hold diverse roles in retail and healthcare organizations, including Globus, Landmark Group, and Fortis Healthcare, before moving into senior leadership within diagnostics and healthcare services. His career demonstrates over two decades of expertise across strategic alliances, business development, healthcare operations, and diagnostics leadership.
Chatterjee holds an MBA/PGDRM in Retail Management from FDDI Business School (Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, Institute of National Importance by Act of Parliament).
