Bengaluru, Karnataka, India – October 2024 – Shivika Tandon has taken on the role of Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Axis Bank, bringing her extensive HR expertise and strategic leadership to one of India’s leading private sector banks. In this new position, Tandon will focus on enhancing talent management, employee relations, and HR initiatives across the organization.
Before joining Axis Bank, Shivika Tandon served as the Associate Director of People Commercial at AB InBev India for two years. In this capacity, she led HR strategies for commercial teams, focusing on talent management, performance optimization, and culture development to drive business success.
Prior to her role at AB InBev, Tandon was with IDFC FIRST Bank for nearly four years. As the Vice President of Human Resources, she oversaw HR operations and talent strategies across regions, driving initiatives like talent acquisition, employee engagement, and workforce planning. Her responsibilities extended to leading zonal HR operations, where she was responsible for North, East, and GBG regions, further establishing a robust HR framework.
Earlier in her career, Tandon spent over seven years at ICICI Bank, where she progressed through various HR roles. Starting as an Assistant Manager HR, she quickly moved up to become a Senior Employee Relations Manager. Her tenure at ICICI Bank involved managing employee relations, talent management, and HR policies, making significant contributions to organizational growth and employee satisfaction.
Tandon began her HR career with UST Global as an HR Intern, focusing on compensation metrics and automation. Before transitioning to HR, she worked as a Software Engineer at Infosys Technologies Ltd, where she was involved in software development, functional enhancements, and project management.
