Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 — Siddhanth Iyengar has been promoted to the role of Managing Director at Moelis & Company, marking a significant milestone in his distinguished investment banking career. In his new role, he will continue to advise corporations, financial sponsors, and institutional clients on high-impact mergers & acquisitions, restructurings, capital markets transactions, and strategic financial advisory assignments across India and international markets.
In his current role at Moelis & Company, Siddhanth has spent over a decade with the firm, rising through the ranks as Vice President, Executive Director, and now Managing Director. He has played a key role in building the firm’s India investment banking franchise, advising marquee clients on complex M&A, capital markets, and restructuring transactions.
Prior to Moelis, he was associated with Barclays, where he progressed from Assistant Vice President to Vice President, contributing to financial sponsor coverage, structured finance, and investment banking assignments in Mumbai.
Earlier in his career, Siddhanth began his professional journey with Lehman Brothers / Barclays in New York as part of the Financial Sponsors Group within the Investment Banking Division, gaining foundational exposure to global deal-making and structured finance.
He also gained early professional grounding at Price Waterhouse, serving as Graduate Trainee and later Associate – Assurance Division, specializing in the manufacturing and services sector, where he developed strong analytical and financial governance expertise.
Siddhanth Iyengar holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business, which has provided a strong academic foundation in finance, strategy, and corporate leadership.
